Greater Than Faith?!

Posted by Michael La Framboise on Sunday, August 31, 2014,
The Bible declares that without faith it is impossible to please God; and Jesus proclaimed that if we just had the least amount of faith, we could see mountain-moving miracles. In light of this, I am stunned as I think of these words: Faith, Hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is love! Moreover we are admonished in our faith-life not to forget that though we have all faith so that we could remove mountains, without love we are nothing!

We must believe God, we must have faith in...

What Is Church?

Posted by Michael La Framboise on Sunday, August 24, 2014,
As the DEAD DAYS roll by, we may in our self-examination consider "Church." What is it for? What is my relationship to it? How should I approach it?      The Bible asserts that those who come to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The Lord works by His word in our lives, and that work is effective- it’s consequential- in those who seek Him and believe Him. To take the Lord at His word, and to believe Him, is to open one’s life to the effective work of the Word of God. The Lord God has promised to honor His word, and will not allow it to return void unto Him. He will accomplish an ef...

The Walking Dead In Christ

Posted by Michael La Framboise on Sunday, August 3, 2014,
Too many believers are simply wandering through life like zombie-Christians! The word of God is stifled in their life by the cares of this world; the Spirit of God is quenched as they return to the dead-things of sin; and the Steps of the Master are no longer followed, as they are led away by their own selfish and sinful desires.

This lifeless existence is not the expectation of our Lord for those He has redeemed; for He surely meant it when he said, “I have come that they may have life, a...
