Have you taken your Bible and studied it out, beloved? If you have, you know that the heathen are lost! Because they have never heard the “Sweetest Story Ever Told of Jesus and His Great Love”, they will be separated forever from God and Heaven, enduring that which was prepared for the devil and his demons.

WHAT ARE THE HEATHEN LIKE? Except for the condition of their heart, they are no different than you or I.... About this one difference-- the heart condition: In these lands where the Gospel has never gone, the people there know grief like you and I have never known. They know fear which is beyond our wildest imagination. The anguish of the soul of the heathen is without expression. Their unhappiness, their sorrow, their loneliness, their fear of death, makes the plight of anyone in Gospel-enlightened America seem as nothing.

DO YOU CARE? My friend, I have one last question. What I have written above I know for sure as fact. Now I want to know, Christian friend, do you care? If so, how much do you care? Will you leave behind your home, (Over) friends, and beloved America to go tell the dear people that there is Someone Who loves them and died for them? Does it not break your heart to think of those mothers, daddys, and their children going to the grave without one speck of hope? Many of you could go, if you really cared...

You say you care but can’t go. Don’t ever try to make yourself believe you care if you won’t give to missions...I know missionaries that have had to be sustained on the field by eating roots because of lack of support. This is to our shame! Work on the field is hampered because of lack of funds. I say again, to our shame! Is it right that we should have so much, when they go without the necessities?

I exhort you, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through, nor steal.” (Matt 6:19-20) Man is but a flower that fades away; and may we ask ourselves, “Then whose will all these things be?”
