The Spiritual person, as described in Galatians 5:22, has love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness. This is what God is looking for! The truly spiritual person is the Christian who lives in the Spirit and walks humbly with God.
Let us ask our Father that all of these may be ours. Let us lay aside that which would hinder our being filled with the Holy Spirit. For when we are filled, His fruit will be ours. Jesus came to give us life more abundantly, and this life is found in daily surrender to Him.
We are nothing; He has and is everything. If we ask our Father in Heaven, nothing wavering, He will make us the kind of children we desire to be. “Ask and it shall be given thee” (Matthew 7:7).
